INTERVIEW: kendall & kylie jenner (beauty & fashion tips!)

• How would you describe each others personal style?

Kendall Jenner: Classic and chic.

Kylie Jenner: Edgy and fun.

• What current fashion & beauty trends do you love and which do you hate?

K&K: Love: Fun nails colors, bronze tone eye-shadows and cool ponytails. Hate: Heavy Make-up!

• Have your older sisters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, inspired your style? Or vice versa?

K&K: They definitely inspire us in many different ways, because they all have very unique styles. If we don't like something our big sisters are wearing (it's rare), we will tell them and now they will listen, which is cool.

• Both of you have flawless skin! What is your current skin care routine like?

K&K: We have an amazing dermatologist that has us on a daily routine. We also love wearing skirts and dresses, so we always make sure our legs look their best and shaving is a big part of that. We love the Venus Embrace razor and the Satin Care Passionista Fruit Shave Gel, which smells awesome and keeps our legs smooth. And we always use a body lotion after to make sure we're moisturized.

• How do you prep for important nights out, like red carpet, formals and date night?

K&K: We usually pick the outfit first - then we'll shower, shave and moisturize. If it's a really big event we use our hair/make-up guys, but most times we do our hair and make-up ourselves. We always pick fun music to put on and dance around while we get ready. Lip gloss and perfume is always the last step before we leave. We worked with Venus to create the "Getting Ready with Kendall & Kylie" video series, which has tons of tips on prepping - hair, make-up, even shaving.

• Do you have any secret weapons you stash in your purse to keep your hair and makeup looking fresh all night?

K&K: Blotting papers and hairbands.

• What fashion items have you added to your wardrobe for Fall?

K&K: Slouchy and off the shoulder sweaters, cool new boots and a couple new jackets - we can't wait for it to get cold!

• Do either of you have a key item in your closet that you just can't live without?

K&K: Combat boots and skinny jeans.

• Do you ever feel like you're in a style rut, and if so, what do you do to get out of it?

K&K: Yes sometimes. But if we do feel that way we have each others closets to raid to get new ideas. We're lucky it's like having twice the wardrobe.

INTERVIEW: Carine Roitfeld.

Carine Roitfeld born September 19, 1954) is the former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, a position she held from 2001 to January 31, 2011.A former fashion model and writer, she announced her resignation on December 17, 2010, and was succeeded by Emmanuelle Alt. In 2012 she became founder and editor-in-chief of CR Fashion Book.

At 18, Roitfeld began modeling, having been scouted on a street in Paris by a British photographer's assistant. She became a writer and then a stylist for French Elle

Roitfeld went on to work as a consultant for and muse to Tom Ford at Gucci and Yves Saint-Laurent for six years and also contributed to the images of Missoni, Versace, and Calvin Klein.
She was approached by Condé Nast's International Chairman Jonathan Newhouse to edit Vogue Paris in 2001. In April 2006, there were rumors that Roitfeld was being approached by the Hearst Corporation to take over Glenda Bailey's editor-in-chief position at U.S. Harper's Bazaar.
In January 2010, she was named in Tatler magazine’s top-10 best-dressed list. She was listed as one of the fifty best-dressed over 50s by the Guardian in March 2013.
On December 17, 2010, Roitfeld resigned after ten years at Vogue Paris to concentrate on personal projects. She left the magazine at the end of January 2011. Speculation that she would be joining Tom Ford at his namesake company were refuted by Ford. She was succeeded at Vogue Paris on February 1, 2011, by Emmanuelle Alt, who had served as fashion director under Roitfeld.
At the end of 2011 she confirmed the rumors that she is working on her own magazine with a different approach than the one at Vogue Paris, saying, "I will always be irreverent in my own way, but I will try to use new approaches. I've used a lot of cigarettes, a lot of sexy pictures, a lot of naked girls. I will try to do something totally different now, because I don't want to get bored of myself or to bore my readers. So, if I learn something new today, I will use it. I have to reinvent myself".
